학생선수의 핵심역량관리를 위한 온라인 이력관리시스템의 교육적 의미 탐색

Abstract

그동안 한국은 우수한 엘리트 운동선수 육성을 중심으로 빠른 양적, 질적 성장을 하였다. 하지만 이러한 선수육성방식은 종목 간 불평등 문제, 승부조작문제, 성폭력과 성차별 등 다양한 사회적 이슈를 발생시켰다. 그 가운데 학생선수와 관련된 가장 큰 문제는 우수한 경기력을 위해 운동과 훈련만을 강요받았다는 점이다. 그로인해 많은 학생선수들은 학력저하 문제를 경험하였으며, 이렇게 축적된 학업경험 부족은 운동선수 이후의 삶에 큰 부담으로 작용되고 있다. 이에 최근 정보의 기조는 공부하는 학생선수를 육성하기 위한 다양한 정책과 방안을 실행함으로써 중도탈락과 경력단절 등으로 인한 문제들을 사전에 대비하고자 노력하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학생선수가 누려야 할 학습과 훈련을 학교와 운동부 안에서 병행할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있는 온라인 이력관리시스템의 정당성과 교육적 의미를 탐색하고자 한다.

To date, Korean sports have been rapidly growing in quantitative and qualitative aspects, based on fostering talented elite athletes. However, the current training method for athletes development has caused various social issues between popular and unpopular sports, match fixing, sexual harassment, and sexual discrimination. The biggest issue with related student athletes is that they have been forced to only focus on athletic training with regards to pursuing better game result. Because most of the student athletes have been experiencing the decrease of academic ability and these lack of learning experience, they have faced various difficulties to manage their lives after they quit their athletic careers. Thus, the Korean government has carried out a policy for raising student athletes who can study and train at the same time, in order to prepare for dropping out of athletic career and career interruption. Therefore, this study aims to explore the legitimacy and educational meaning of the online career management system which is designed to help student athletes managing their plans in balance between studying and training.
