- Abstract
- To investigate effect of alcohol consumption characteristics on the body mass index (BMI) and blood pressureprogram. Alcohol consumption characteristics such as frequency of drinking, amount and toxic degre of alcohol didn’t showa significant corelation with BP. Amount of alcohol consumption and BMI showed a positive corelation (r=.264, p<.01).Waist circumference and BMI had the highest corelations with amount of alcohol consumption, which increased with aging.Keywords . alcohol consumption, BMI, blood pressure
