- Abstract
- Purpose: To conduct meta-analysis on the effects of Physical activity on Sleep Quality. Method: 8148 subjects from 18 Korean, Chinese and English literatures in this study were included, the CMA 3.0 program was used to do subgroup analysis, which set two adjustment variables: cultural background and age. The random effects model was used to test the overall effect, and heterogeneity.
Results: 1) The overall average effect size of the for was .251, indicating a small average effect size.
2) As a result of conducting the analysis of the control effect, a statistically significant difference was found for the age variable among the two variables introduced as control variables.
Conclusion: Physical activity is effective in improving Sleep Quality, and it can be interpreted as having the positive effect if Physical activity for People under 30 years of age.
