Abstract
This paper proposes the MPC algorithm with reduced computational complexity and fast dynamic response for the CHB inverters. During steady state, only optimal vector at a present step and its adjacent vectors are considered. However, this paper defines a new candidate vector subset for transient state for fast dynamic speed.
