Nanomaterial-based artificial enzymes (Nanozymes)have attracted recent attention because of their uniqueadvantageous characteristics such as excellent robustness andstability, low-cost production by facile scale-up, and longtermpreservation capability that are critically required as analternative to natural enzymes. These nanozymes exhibit naturalenzyme-like activity, and they have been applied to diversekinds of detection methods for disease-associated biomoleculessuch as DNAs, proteins, cells, and small moleculesincluding glucose. To highlight the progress in the field of diseasediagnostics using nanozyme, this review discusses manynanozyme-based detection methods categorized by the typesof target biomolecules. Finally, we address the current challengesand perspectives for the widespread utilization of nanozyme-based disease diagnostics.-
