의료관광코디네이터의 직무특성이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향

Abstract

This study was carried out to find out the influence of job characteristics on job satisfaction and organizational commitment of medical tourism coordinators. A survey was conducted targeting people responsible for medical tourism work or employees who work for travel agencies, medical tourism agencies, consulting firms and hospitals in Seoul performing medical tourism related work. Out of 252 questionnaires, 220 were analysed using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results of this study is follows. First, the skill variety and task identity influenced negatively on job satisfaction. Second, all job characteristics factors influenced negatively on organizational commitment. Third, the task, promotion and relationship of job satisfaction factors influenced positively on organizational commitment. These research findings may be interpreted that task identity act as some stress to medical tourism coordinators. Therefore, it is necessary that the medical tourism agencies, firms and hospitals have to set up the well organized medical tourism process and give medical tourism coordinators the satisfaction of their tasks.
