- Abstract
- The purposes of this study were to set up the concept of hairdressing service and analyze the previous studies on satisfaction of hairdressing service. Concept framework of hairdressing service was formulated as hairdressing goods service, human service, material service, and politic service using former researches in hairdressing, clothing and marketing fields. According to this concept framework, around 90 studies of satisfaction for hairdressing service were categorized into ‘general service’, ‘human service’, ‘material & politic service’, ‘service usage’, and ‘consumer characteristic’ and satisfaction in hairdressing. As a result, hairdressing studies have made a rapid progress recently and in particular studies about service quality evaluation were actively done. However, there are too many similar studies using same research models and factors. Therefore, studies considered diverse variables, models and consumers should be conducted in the future. In addition, studies about hair service dissatisfaction and complaint behavior will be necessary.
