dc.description.abstractThe rapid increase of mobile internet and digital technologies has shown an increased interest in demand for stereoscopic 3D to provide 3D digital contents on mobile. Furthermore, the fast growing LCD technology has already allowed 3D viewings even in Smartphone. As a result, the issues related with stereo imaging have been spotlighted greatly. This paper presents a brief overview of rapid developments in stereoscopic technologies for mobile devices to gain some perspective on the changes and progress with special emphasis on mobile 3D TV services. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media.-
