Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between pregnant woman's stress, temperament and maternal-fetal attachment. The number of subject was 249 pregnant women who participate on Parent Education. We analyzed the data which were collected by means of questionnaire from september to October, 2011. The results were summarized as follows: The total stress level of pregnant woman was below the average and maternal fetal attachment level was above the average. The group of high level pregnant woman's stress revealed low level of maternal-fetal attachment compared to that of low level stress. The pregnant woman's stress and maternal temperament had significant correlation with maternal-fetal attachment.
