E-G 지표를 활용한 인천시 물류기업 집적도 분석연구

Abstract

Recently, the rapid growth of port industry has been almost depended on the change of global port business environment. The main issues of this change are the scale of economy in port-competition and the multification of the port business function, which lead the spatial and functional change in the port city and make port business company agglomerate. This phenomenon has already happened in the developed port city in Europe, USA and Japan and thus the developed countries which have hub port city invent the concept of development of hinterland in the port. So this article analyse the change of spatial structure in the port city in South Korea which played the role of locomotive of economic growth. The subject of study is Incheon Port and Incheon city. We analyze the time-series data in this region by using E-G Index to figure out the geographical concentration of port business industry. In the result, we can find out that the agglomeration of port business industry including logistic industry has proceeded steadily.
