dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to examine the fundamental movement skill (FMS) of students with intellectual disability in special school. One hundred twenty students with intellectual disability were participated in this study. FMS were assessed using the test of Gross Motor Development-2 including locomotor (running, galloping, hopping, horizontal jumping, sliding) and object control skills (overhand throwing, catching, kicking, hitting dribbling, rolling). Data were analyzed using liner regression andchi-squared analyses. The results of this study were as follows; Total locomotor score was higher among boys compared to girls (p<.05); however only the galloping and horizontal jumping were significantly different (p<.001, p<.05). Boys had higher score than girls in overhand throwing and catching and was significantly different (p<.05).-
