dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research is to investigate on the effect of the aerobic complex exercise for 12 weeks on the vascular compliance in elderly women. The objects of the research was 15 elderly exercise woman and 15 women of controled group. For the exercise group, we have let them participate in the aerobic complex exercise with the scope of 11-13 of perceptual exercise intensity for 70 minutes per session and 3 sessions per week, and measured the vascular compliance in the left hand, right hand, left foot and right foot. The result of the research is as follows. First, after the participation in the aerobic complex exercise, the vascular compliance in the left hand, right hand, left foot and right foot had significant relationship with the group, period of measurement, and the interaction effect of the period of the measurement, and according to the result of the T-test of according specimen during the group-specific measurement, there was significant increase in the exercise group. Second, according to the result of participation in the aerobic complex exercise, there was significant differences of weight, bodily fat rate according to the measurement period, interaction of the group and the measurement of period, and the result of the T-test of the according specimen during the measuring period showed that there was significant decrease in the exercise group. But, the muscle amount was significantly different only according to the group and the measurement period, and the result of t-test of the according specimen during the group-specific measurement period showed no significant differences in the exercise group. By looking at the result above, we can know that the participation in the 12 weeks of aerobic complex exercise was effective for the improvement of bodily composition and vascular compliance, and it is assumed that through participation in these types of exercise, the cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure, hardening of arteries, and myocardial infarction can be prevented.-
