Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental data in the core exercise program (CEP) to improve in 29 patients with chronic low back pain through change of lumbar extension strength and stability factors for the lumbar stabilization. For this study, the subjects were performed for 70 minutes at two times per week during 12 weeks, and it was compared to the exercise about the improved functional ability of chronic low back pain. The results were as follows; According to the CEP of 12 weeks for functional improvement of chronic low back, the changes of lumbar extension strength showed significantly increased post exercise than pre exercise at all angles of patients, there were shown to improve strength was an average of 58.50ft-lbs. These results will be considered to give a positive effect on the functional improvement and pain relief of lumbar. In addition, The changes on the stability ability of center of gravity showed post exercise than pre exercise better stability is secured was an average 4.9%. Based on the results this way, dysfunction of lumbar patients with chronic low back pain on the application of CEP will be helpful improves for alleviating pain with lumbar extensor strength and stability of the center of gravity represent the trend of increasing capacity and improve functional activities, including the ability to function could contribute to a stable role.
