The movement of tympanic membranes can be evaluated with a video pneumatic otoscopy using otoendoscope and video apparatus. The umbo position was analyzed using template matching method when the pressure inside of it was static, positive and negative, respectively. The template matching method was used to track and measure the movement of tympanic membranes automatically. This method is more comfortable in uses, more accurate and precision compare with manual method. Moreover we can reduce the analysis time and improve the objectivity of measurement with the proposed method. ©2012 IEEE.-
