Magnetic ordering at room temperature in organic polymer materials has long remained a challenge for developing new magnetic materials. A recent publication by Wu and colleagues (Chem. 2019;5:1223–1234) describes incorporation of stable radicals in covalently linked organic frameworks to create room-temperature magnets that provide a platform for next-generation magnetic devices. © 2019 Elsevier Inc.-
