dc.description.abstractIn this research, we deal with drone-vehicle intermodal delivery system. A vehicle loaded with drones departure from warehouse and move to a vehicle destination. At the vehicle destination, drones fly from the vehicle to end users to deliver the product. After delivering product, drones fly back to the vehicle at the vehicle destination. In this drone-vehicle intermodal delivery system, we suggest non-linear programming mathematical model to minimize the total vehicle transportation cost and drone transportation cost. The problem in this model has a characteristics of special case of the location-allocation problem. The clonal selection algorithm in the artificial immune system is used to solve the problem. A feasibility reinforced initial solution generation method and a local search technic are developed to increase the effectiveness of the clonal selection algorithm.-
