Abstract
With limitation in the LBS technology that relies on GPS, the biggest concern in the latest development of the location data sector is indoor and outdoor position determination technology by interconnecting with indoor and outdoor location information technology. The study focuses on a platform method for organic information provision that puts together indoor and outdoor location information by combining various wireless technologies of mobile handsets to ensure use of indoor position information technology. With this in mind, the study aims to propose a system of which allows identification of one's location during emergency situations, such as fire or earthquake in buildings frequently used by people, airports, and public buildings and to request for rescue. © 2017 International Information Institute.
