양택풍수 현대화를 위한 한.중.일 삼국의 비보풍수 비교 연구Ⅰ -한국과 중국의 비보풍수 비교 연구를 중심으로

Abstract

This study investigated measures to modernistically utilize Bibo Feng Shui (裨補風水: Feng Shui to Remedy Topographical Defects), which is a technique to analyze weak elements and excessive elements in living environments. That is, differences in the methods of utilization of Bibo Feng Shui in three countries; South Korea, China, and Japan were compared and analyzed to present measures to utilize Bibo Feng Shui in modern urban environments. In study 1, for a comparative study of Bibo Feng Shui in South Korea and China, the Forbidden City(The Palace Museum), which was a main palace, in China and the Gyeongbok Palace in South Korea, and Summer Palace in China as a garden and Buyong-dong garden in Bogil-do(island) in South Korea were compared and analyzed. Based on the abovementioned investigations, a “user-customized design methodology”, which can be utilized in modern urban environments, was developed and presented.
