The purpose of this study was to examine relationship between cobb's angle and cervical posture in scoliosis middle school girls. This study measured a primary scoliosis-test by a scoliometer with 90 middle school girls and a secondary-test by cobb's angle using an X-ray. The subjects were divided into three groups according to cobb's angle levels: Cobb's Angle 10°-19°group, Cobb's Angle 20°-29°group, Cobb's Angle 30°-39°group. The analysis of data revealed the following findings. The cervical posture showed significant according to cobb's angle levels. Cervical posture were significantly higher with increasing angle of scoliosis. Cobb's angle showed significant positive correlation with cervical posture. In conclusion, this study showed that scoliosis affects cervical posture. We find the cervical posture decreased of middle school girls with scoliosis. There are needs for prospective study about the possible development of scoliosis for prevention of decreased cervical posture. Therefore, we should strive to develop the exercise program for prevention of musculoskeletal disease would improve quality of life in youth.-
