Many cancer patients experience side effects from cancer treatments, and these side effects adversely affect the quality of life of cancer patients. Various methods have been studied in order to reduce side effects for treatment, and the importance of muscle has been reported in many cases. Skeletal muscle is the tissue that occupies the largest part of the human body, and decreased muscle mass has been reported to be associated with side effects of chemotherapy, increased toxicity and reduced survival. Myokine is known as a cytokine that exerts an endocrine or paracrine effect in other cells, tissues or by being released into the circulation after being secreted by the cells of skeletal muscle, and is reported to play an important role in preventing cancer. Exercise is an effective method that can alleviate the treatment process and side effects after treatment in cancer patients, and the study of myocaine is thought to improve the treatment effect and quality of life for cancer patients.-
