- Abstract
- The study identified the relationship between sport flow and pyhsical self-concept to belly dancing on th ewomen demographic characteristic of physical activityFirst, concerning the level of participants’ flow to belly danicng according to age, the younger they were ,the higher the level of flow(cognitive flow and behavioral flow), and participants in their twenties showed thehighest level. Regarding the level of flow according to occupaiot n, the professional occupation group displayeda higher level in terms of cognitive flow and behavior afllow compared with other occupation groups .
As a result of analyzing the difference in the level of flow according to marital status, the level of flow of singlewomen(cognitive flow and behavioral flow) was proven as being ihgher than that of married women. Therewas a statistically significant difference according to age and occupation, whereas there was no significant differencein the level of flow according to marital status.
Second, in terms of the appearance factor, which is a sub-factor of physical self-concept, respondents intheir thirties demonstrated a higher level, whereas respondents in their twenties displayed a higher level for thehealth factor, somatotype factor, and physical fitness factor.A lso, the professional occupation group showeda higher level for the appearance factor, health factor, somatotype factor, and physical fitness factor than otheroccupation groups. In addition, single women exhibited a higher level for the appearance factor, health factor,somatotype factor, and physical fitness factor, all of which are sub-facotrs of physical self-concept. As tophysical self-concept according to demographic characteristics (age, occupation, and marital status), therewas statistically significant difference.
