dc.description.abstract | A decision support systems (DSS) are computer-based application that collects and puts together, and examine the business information to encourage and facilitate the quality of business. A very much planned DSS helps leaders in aggregating and grouping of data in various sources. Raw data, information and records from the employees, the board and heads plan the DSS business model. DSS network and analysis framework help the administration, organizations to recognize, solve problems, and make a decision. It is a framework that permits a humanmachine interface, whereas the administrators have control all through the decisions process. Decision-making data straightforwardly related to the managers, yet besides goes above and beyond common administration systems by allowing decision-makers to interact with the computer. The capacity of a person to retail command over the decision-making process isn't simply enough to tackle very much organized structured problems yet besides helps in taking care of semi-organized and unstructured issues. This book chapter is focused on the different aspects of a decision support system ranging from the introductory part of the DSS network followed by the development and deployment of a support system. The article covers diverse topics related to support systems including webbased systems, user interfaces, software engineering approaches, etc. The last section of this article covers the machine learning-based case studies which could help in gaining visibility that how the machine learning is incorporated in the decision-making process. © 2021 Nova Science Publishers, Inc. | - |
