- Abstract
- Hotel industry has been in crisis since the Pandemic. Thus, hotel industry is changing their management methods & strategies and is responding to various challenging management environments in line with changes and trends based on core human resources through personnel restructuring. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of challenging job experience on adaptive performance of hotel employees, and examine whether perceived supervisor support is moderating between challenging job experience and adaptive performance. The survey was conducted, and a total of 220 questionnaires were used for statistical analysis. The results of this analysis were as follows: first, the challenging job experience of hotel employees was a positive impact on adaptive performance. Second, perceived supervisor support played a moderating role between challenging job experience of hotel employees and adaptive performance. This study was an opportunity to look at the quantitative approach of the hotel employee's job experience, and the results could be provide more structured data on the hotel employee's challenge job experience and adaptive performance to further refine the hotel employee's job design and distribution.
