- Abstract
- This study aimed at examining the trends of Taekwondo gym research published in academic journals and providing basic data on the role and direction of Taekwondo gyms, and based on the results of analyzing 576 studies, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the names of Taekwondo-jang used in the study were Taekwondo-jang, Taekwondo dojang, Taekwondo gyms, training halls, training gyms, and studios, and the trend by year began to increase rapidly in the 2000s, with the largest number of 40 papers published in 2011. Second, the most frequent words among Taekwondojang related studies were Taekwondo, Influence, Taekwondo, Korean Journal of Sports Science, and Relationship. As a result of TF-IDF weight analysis, Taekwondo, Influence, Korean Journal of Sports Science, Relationship, and Research. N-gram analysis showed that leaders, service quality, training, management, and marketing are related to Taekwondo. The results of the frequency of individual name recognition were in the order of leaders, parents, teachers, elementary school students, and managers, and in management, customer satisfaction, satisfaction, service quality, management, and service.
