Abstract

This study analyzed the relationship between self-esteem, ego-resilience, and depression of high school poomsae athletes in adolescence surrounded by environmental factors that can experience depression, and the necessity and purpose of providing basic data for research to establish programs and policies to improve the mental health of youth professional athletes. In order to achieve the research objectives, the following results were obtained by collecting and analyzing data from 2 73 high school Poomsae players using the questionnaire method. First, the hypothesis was all adopted as it was found that positive self-esteem affects the diversity of interest and interest, emotional control, and positive future orientation, which are sub-factors. Second, in the effect of ego-resilience on depression, it was analyzed that the emotional control of ego-resilience had a negative effect on depression, and the hypothesis was partially adopted. The above results are that positive self-esteem, self-resilience, and depression partially affect adolescent Poomsae athletes, and it is believed that positive thoughts in adolescence will reduce depression and have a positive effect on overall life.
