- Tourism and Hospitality Research (THR) publishes dynamic and original research on a wide range of issues in the context of tourism and hospitality. The scope of the journal is international, and, as a platform for stimulating debate, we welcome theoretical, multidisciplinary and applied submissions that offer meaningful and ambitious contributions to current discourse. THR draws upon the expertise of scholars and practitioners interested in many aspects of tourism and hospitality, including consumer behaviour, marketing, strategy, policy and planning, environmental studies, psychology and many more. The journal’s content includes empirical research, discussions of current issues and case studies. We welcome research notes and full manuscripts as well as book reviews and professional perspectives of tourism and hospitality. THR primarily promotes qualitative methodologies but will accept quantitative studies as long as they are fully embedded in theory development. Of particular interest to THR are articles adopting innovative research approaches, manuscripts that examine novel and/or under-researched areas of tourism and hospitality and review papers that support the development of future research agendas.
