dc.description.abstractIn this study, the effects between two double-suction sirocco fans and the motor installed in the large air purifier were analyzed. The distance between the sirocco fan and motor, and the diameter of motor were set as the main variables. In addition, distance and diameter were expressed as dimensionless variables to make easier to analyze. Through computational analysis using the RANS equation, the inlet and outlet areas of the fan were analyzed. As a results, the distances that improve the performance for each specific size of the motor were investigated. Compared to the reference model, the static pressure increased of 35 Pa and the efficiency increased of 3.4 %, respectively.-
