dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the influences of flush-out on the reduction of indoor air pollutants which are emitted from building materials, and also analyzed the energy cost of the flush-out in residential buildings. From the results of simulation, it was found that the reduction is strongly related with total flush-out flow rate and flush-out term. The energy cost of the flush-out ranged from 3,521 to 29,452 ₩ per housing unit during the heating period.-
