Reducible poly(oligo-D-arginine) (rPOA) is a promising non-viral gene delivery carrier, providing lower cytotoxicity and higher gene expression efficiency compare to PEI. rPOA showed a higher level of HSV-TK gene expression in comparison with PEI in brain tumor cells and subsequently induced high cytotoxicity on tumor cells, in the presence of ganciclovir (GCV).-
