dc.description.abstract | Peptides with the sequence of RGD and YIGSR have been frequently used to regulate many critical aspects of cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation. We demonstrated that the presence of both RGD and YIGSR peptides in alginate gels showed a synergistic effect on adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation of PC12 cells in vitro. Hydrogels modified with multiple adhesion peptides could find useful applications in tissue engineering. | - |
