Abstract
Based on the covariation between language and society, this paper selected 103 words of both genders, which are included in the new words of the "Language Situation in China"(2008-2020), as the specific research objects. Using the research methods of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, this paper made a specific analysis from two aspects: male gender cultural characteristics and female gender cultural characteristics, so as to reveal the characteristics and trend of contemporary Chinese gender culture. The study found that the diversified trend of gender aesthetics and the asymmetry of men's and women's views on marriage and love. The outstanding performance is the feminization of male gender temperament, the progress of women's self-consciousness and the practical dilemma. Under the comprehensive action of time factors, economic factors and institutional factors, China's contemporary gender culture tends to be diversified and individualized. The focus of social psychology on gender image is generally reflected in the transition from economic strength to appearance, temperament and character.
