- Abstract
- Heungsoo Shin and co-workers report a facile cell sheet harvesting platform based on thermally expandable hydrogels with modular cell adhesion property on page 2320. Delicate control of mussel-inspired adhesive coating polydopamine on the hydrogel enables stable cell sheet formation, and its detachment mediated by thermal expansion of the hydrogel, which holds numerous applications in regenerative medicine.
