This article reviews the 23rd Annual Conference of the International Association of Chinese Linguistics and the 1st International Symposium of Sino-Korean Linguistics, which was held at Hanyang University, Seoul, during August 26-28, 2015. It concludes that Korea Association of Chinese linguistics, the proud host of IACL23, deserves celebrations for the success of IACL23 and positive contributions to the world arena of Chinese linguistics. It proposes also the “true” globalization with Korean identity as the new issue that the Korean academia of Chinese linguistics ought to resolve in the future.-
