출산 친화적 환경을 위한 수유실 디자인 가이드라인

Abstract

한국은 심각한 저출산 문제를 겪고 있으나, 출산을장려할 사회적 환경이 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 출산친화적인 환경을 만들어가기 위한 노력의 하나로엄마와 아기를 배려한 수유실이 설치될 수 있도록 설치 기준을 제안하고자 한다. 국내외의 문헌연구를 통해 수유실의 평가항목을 만들어 지하철 역사에 설치되어 있는 수유실을 정신적 요소와 물질적 요소로 나누어 평가하고, 그 결과를 분석해 새로운 수유실 설치기준을 제시했다. 또한 현재 수유실 설치 기준이 없어예산에 맞춰 공간과 시설이 제각각으로 설치 되어있다. 따라서 수유실을 크게 소형, 중형, 대형으로 나누어 각각의 크기에 맞는 시설이 갖춰지도록 설치 기준을 제시했다. 소형 수유실은 최소한의 필수 시설이 설치 될 수 있도록 하여 정신적 요소로서 수유를 하는엄마의 스트레스가 감소될 수 있도록 하고, 물질적 요소로서 아기와 엄마의 건강을 지키고, 수유실을 편하게 이용할 수 있도록 가이드라인을 제시한다.

The low birth rate is very serious issue in South Korea but trere are very poor social environment for birth friendly. This study suggests guidelines for a lactation room which considered mother and her baby for birth friendly environment. Through the analysis of cases of Korea and foreign countries, I set evaluation indices in material and mental factors. And then I evaluated lactation rooms in subway stations with the evaluation indices. I suggests new guidelines for designing lactation rooms after analysing the results. We do not have installation standards for a lactation room yet, space and a facilities are set up each by each based on the budget. Therefore lactation rooms are set up by the size of a room which can be small, middle and large. I suggest installation standards regarding each different size of a room. Small lactation rooms need essential facilities at least. In mental factors, new facilities have to reduce stress. In material factors, the lactation rooms keep mother and babies’ health and provide cozy spaces.
