클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 수용 요인 탐색 연구: 유희성, 리스크, 소비 성향을 반영한 기술수용모델을 중심으로

Abstract

최근 4차 산업 혁명의 중심 기술 중 하나인 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술은 기업 컴퓨팅 인프라, 종합 플랫폼 솔루션으로 주로 활용되어 왔다. 반면 개인을 대상으로 한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스인 SaaS(Software as a service)로의 확산은 상대적으로 더딘 편이다. 본 연구에서는 기술수용모델(TAM)을 바탕으로 유희성, 기술 및 보안 리스크, 개인 가중치 등 잠재 이용자들의 개인 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 수용을 위한 핵심 요인들을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 자료의 수집을 위해서 서울을 포함한 주요 대도시 거주민을 대상으로 온라인 설문방식으로 2020년 2월부터 3월까지 총 1,600명의 응답자에 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 수집한 자료와 연구모형 분석을 위해서 구조방정식모형(Structural equation model)을 사용하여 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 수용 기제를 분석하였다. 분석의 결과, 인지된 유희성이 인지된 유용성보다 이용의도에 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 기능⋅보안 리스크와 기능⋅가격가중치가 연구모델에 있어 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 본 연구에서는 이를 활용 정부 정책 대안과 기업 전략 측면에서의 실증적인 함의를 제안하였다.

Cloud computing technology, one of the central technologies of the recent 4th industrial revolution, has been mainly used as enterprise computing infrastructure and comprehensive platform solutions. On the other hand, the spread to SaaS (Software as a Service), a cloud computing service for individuals, is relatively slow. Therefore, in this study, to understand the factors and mechanism of the acceptance for cloud computing services, a technology acceptance model (TAM), including enjoyment, risks, and consumer attitude, was proposed by reflecting the latest market trends and was empirically analyzed. For the data collection, online surveys were conducted to 1,600 respondents living in Seoul and other metropolitan areas in Korea by Gallup Korea from February to March 2020. As an estimation model, we employed the structural equation model(SEM) to examine core factors influencing individuals" adoption of cloud computing services. The estimation result shows that perceived enjoyment has a more significant effect on perceived usefulness, and variables function⋅security risk and function⋅price weight were found to be significant in the research model. Based on the estimation results, this study identified the mechanism of user acceptance for the cloud computing service and suggested empirical implications for building government policies and corporate strategy for the successful deployment of cloud computing services.
