노년기 동년배 대화에 나타난 지시 대명사 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 일상 대화에 나타난 노년기 여성의 지시 대명사의 사용 양상을 분석하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 노년기 화자 40명의 일상 대화 자료를 청년기 화자 40명의 자료와 비교하여 지시 대명사의 출현 형태와 빈도, 지시 대명사의 기능을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노년기가 청년기에 비해 지시 대명사의 출현 형태 수가 많았고, 출현 빈도도 2배 가까이 높았다. 둘째, ‘이, 그, 저’ 계열별 출현 빈도에서는 ‘그’ 계열은 청년기보다 출현 비율이 낮았지만 ‘저’ 계열은 청년기보다 크게 높았다. 셋째, 지시 대명사의 기능에서는 후행 문맥 지시 기능이 가장 높은 빈도로 사용되었다. 넷째, 노년기에서는 청년기에 비해 간투사적 기능과 화자 상념 기능이 높은 빈도로 사용되었다.

This study aims to analyze the aspects of demonstrative pronouns used by old-aged people in ordinary conversations. Thus, by comparing the data of 40 old-aged speakers’ ordinary conversations with that of another 40 young speakers’ ordinary conversations, this study analyzed the functions of demonstrative pronouns as well as the appearance form and frequency of demonstrative pronouns. The analysis results can be summarized as follows; Firstly, the old-aged group showed more forms of demonstrative pronouns than the young group and even about twice more in the appearance frequency than the young group. Secondly, when analyzing the series of ‘Yi,’, ‘Geu’, and ‘Jeo’, this study discovered that the old-aged group showed a lower frequency of ‘Geu’, but a much higher frequency of ‘Jeo’ than the young group. Thirdly, when analyzing the functions of demonstrative pronouns, this study found out that the following context demonstrative function was used most frequently. Lastly, the old-aged group showed higher frequencies of interjectional function and speak’s though demonstrative function than the young group.
