dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this paper is to analyze and compare the energy-saving potential of two different liquid desiccant-assisted evaporative cooling air conditioning systems. One uses a direct and indirect evaporative cooler. Another uses a dew point evaporative cooler. We developed simulation models for these two systems to compare their energy-saving potential and determine which one is the most energy efficient. The hourly thermal load of the local building office building was predicted by using the TRNSYS 18 software. Based on the simulation results, it was found that the LDEOAS consumes 34% more annual primary energy. Therefore, the LDIDECOAS has a higher energy saving potential compared to the LDEOAS.-
