dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to develop the Korean model of human physiology and thermal comfort assessment. The model allows calculating the local sking temperature of each body part and predicting the thermal sensation and comfort of occupants in vehicle. The typical body for 20-30 years old and 40-50 years of Korean men was modeled using the data which were gathered from Size Korea. The body models were compared with the Tanabe model of 16 body segments and the developed models were verified by the comparison with the experiments in the vehicle.-
