dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to develop the Korean model of human physiology and thermal comfort assessing. The model allows calculating the local skin temperature of each body part, and also predicting the thermal sensation and comfort of occupants in vehicles and buildings. As a first step of the research, the typical body for 20-30 years old of Korean men was modeled using the data which were gathered from Inbody and Size Korea. The body model was compared with the Tanabe model of 16 body segments, and then the developed models were verified by the comparison with the experiments with subjects in the vehicle-
