Abstract

With the continuous improvement of medical conditions, the number of elderly people is increasing, the demand for elderly care has also increased. Although quantitatively sufficient, but quality problems may arise. How to deal with the grim situation of an aging society and create an indoor space environment suitable for the elderly has become a problem that we must face and solve. According to the data, the number of elderly care has increased more than other elderly care facilities. Therefore, this study was based on document literature, produced a questionnaire. Second, elderly aged 65 years old and above are the subjects of this questionnaire survey, Investigate 4 cases by using investigation of interview and questionnaires. Third, the use of indoor space in the elderly was investigated. And this study takes safety, health, convenience and applicability as the starting point, and barrier-free design as the criterion to explore these characteristics. At last after analysis and summary, the conclusions are derived. It is hoped that this study can help improve the quality of elderly care.
