- Abstract
- School facilities where teenagers spend a lot of time will have a great impact on the health and emotions of adolescents, so a pleasant and healthy learning environment should be created. It is possible to improve the quality of school life by installing various spaces and indoor and outdoor rest areas in the school. As the size of the school grows, the organic linkage between the building and the external space has become a very important consideration. This means that decks can be used for space transfer, resting space, etc., which is one of the important architectural elements in school planning. Decks have been introduced as one of the architectural means for interconnection of segmented external spaces, and these spaces have been used as a useful means for linking interior space and exterior space. Decks are useful for go to school and movind studying, and are essential to providing a shorter moving time and convenience to your school life. However, decks are lacking in the role of rest and community functions, so improvements in school design are needed in the future.
