dc.description.abstract | Digital tools change the process of design, typical examples are the use of algorithms. The building market has been rapidly switching to 3D based BIM in 2D CAD. In order to positively utilize the merits of BIM, BIM design is required from the initial stage of building design. However, according to a survey of BIM utilization at domestic design offices, the use of BIM is sluggish at the stage of conceptual design. Because BIM constrains the expressive power of the designer and is not specialized in the schematic design. Therefore, the fusion of algorithm and BIM is a design process that can play an important role in solving sophisticated design problems. In this paper, we analyzed trends in domestic research on application of algorithms at the planning and design stage. | - |
