| dc.description.abstract | More and more attention to ‘functional building materials’ is drawn because of the highlighted world’s climatechange, leading to the efforts to reduce the amount of HCHO(formaldehyde) and VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds)even from eco-friendly building materials, and to improve indoor air quality from increasingly humid climate. The standard, ‘Standard for clean & healthy house construction’, mentioned above, recommends the use of functionalbuilding materials. However, eco-friendly building materials are not yet developed to functional building materials. Most enterprises who manufacture eco-friendly building materials are small or medium sized company; usually theyare lack of test and analysis systems, support for testing house, and funding for researching, even with a certain technologyor skill sets. In this study, we’d like to propose a technology management model that is designed for the smalland medium-sized companies to perform technology commercialization effectively. In addition, we present a case studythat is applied the model to a functional building material production company. Throughout this research effort, weconclude that the propose technology management model influences the R&D performance as well as the businessoutcome effectively to the case company. | - |
