This paper is about the accuracy of residual heat based human computer interaction by indirect contact using thermal imaging camera. Residual heat is generated when a finger touches the surface. The thermal imager detects this and enables the touch interface. Conventional touch interfaces do not consider people who have difficulty using their hands. Indirect contact is a way to replace the finger touch interface. It uses the breath of man. Verification is necessary to use indirect contact method as HCI. For this, residual heat was generated and detected by finger touch method and indirect contact method. The results of the detection were analyzed to compare the accuracy of finger touch and indirect contact. As a result of the comparison, the indirect contact method had little difference in performance compared to the finger touch. Through this, it was confirmed that it could be used as an interface for people who cannot use their hands.-
