Abstract
In this paper, we propose an augmented reality(AR) system which allows for users to deform a real object collaboratively. Deformation of a real object is achieved by 3d object tracking method and Laplacian mesh deformation method. The image with deformed object can be shared between users by transmitting anchor points whose positions are changed when the model of the target object is deformed. Unlike conventional AR systems which overlay virtual contents onto camera frame, the proposed system shows as if shape of a real object changed, and thereby, it can be used to produce more realistic AR contents.
