우리나라 도시재생 분야 연구동향 및 지식구조 분석

Abstract

2000년대 초 도시계획 및 도시건축을 전공하는학자들을 중심으로 도시재생에 대한 연구가 본격화되기 시작했다. 도시재생사업단은 총괄과제 및 4개핵심과제를 지원하기 위해 2007년 개소된 이래 7 년간(8차) 약 260여개의 과제를 수행하였다(김혜천2013). 2013년 「도시재생 활성화 및 지원에 관한특별법」이 제정되면서 도시재생 관련 연구가 더욱활발히 진행되고 있다. 도시재생 분야의 학문적인연구 성과를 지속·발전시키고, 향후 연구방향을 모색하기 위해서는 그 동안의 연구 동향 및 연구 성과를 체계적으로 분석 하고 평가하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 네트워크 분석 방법을 통해, ‘도시재생의 연구 동향 및 지식구조를 살펴보고자 한다. 이러한 노력은 도시재생 관련 정책을 수립하고 사업을 추진함에 있어 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this research is to systemize theoretical and practical of urban regeneration research and to predict future direction by understanding the important subjects and the change of paradigm. Through the analysis of keyword network, the key theme was extracted in thesis on urban regeneration which appeared in academic journals published from 2001 to 2015. As a result of this analysis, first of all, the subjects of research implemented before 2013, were discussed conceptually or by case study while not being subdivided, but from 2014, the subjects of research have become diversified such as social enterprise and marketing etc. Secondly, if the key theme is being reviewed in detail, it was found that the objects of urban problems and subjects about phenomenon account for the majority such as “urban decline”, “downtown decline”, “local cities” and “medium-sized city”. It turned out the research on specific members in participatory planning and detailed practice and application are insufficient. In respect of entrepreneurial side of urban regeneration, when the research is at a very early stage the researches on physical regeneration form a large majority such as “the renovation”, “growth management”, “remodeling” and “mixed-use development”. However, it was found the key word regarding urban generation considering economic, social and cultural aspects have higher rates from 2013.
