dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this research is to compare the performances of two selected operation modes in an indirect evaporative cooler: typical cross-flow operation and regenerative operation using outdoor air as redirected air. To compare the performance of each operation mode, experiments were conducted with changing outdoor air condition and airflow rate. Pressure drop and leaving air temperature were measured to evaluate the performances quantitatively. As the experimental results, better performance indices were shown with the typical cross-flow operation than regenerative operation showing higher wet bulb effectiveness, lower pressure drop, and lower leaving air temperature.-
