Abstract
This paper presents the multi-objective optimization for developing the integrated performance of a combat vehicle. In the design of a combat vehicle, certain level of mobility performance is required as well as the firepower performance. Accordingly, it is very important to develop the virtual analysis model for evaluation of the integrated performance and optimization. In this paper, 6-wheel combat vehicle model was developed for performance evaluation and multi-objective optimization was performed to enhance the integrated performance. By using gradient and non-gradient-based optimization algorithms, various designs which satisfy the constraints were obtained and visualized graphically. With the various designs, it is expected that it would be helpful for designer to decide the suitable model which satisfies the requirements.
