아웃도어 레크리에이션 맥락에서 자기결정동기화 모형 적용의 비판적 고찰 : 바이오필리아 관점에서

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 Vallerand(1997)가 제시한 기존의 자기결정성이론 기반의 동기화 모형을 아웃도어 레크리에이션 맥락에 적합하도록 재구성하여 기본심리욕구를 중심으로 한 동기화 수정 모형을 제시하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 여가분야에 SDT를 적용한 선행연구와 여가욕구 및 바이오필리아 가설에 대한 문헌고찰을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 아웃도어 레크리에이션 맥락에서는 SDT 기본심리욕구에 자율성, 유능성, 관계성 외에 자연교류의 욕구가 추가되어야할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 기본심리욕구와 동기와의 관계에 대한 명확화를 위해 다각적인 분석이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 바이오필리아 가설의 관점을 바탕으로 아웃도어 레크리에이션 맥락에 적합하도록 자연교류욕구가 추가된 SDT 동기화 수정 모형을 제시하였다.

This study aims to propose the modified motivational model of Vallerand(1997) based on self-determination theory available in outdoor recreation context . To achieve this, the critical literature review on previous SDT researches in leisure, biophilia hypothesis, and leisure needs or motivations were carried out. The result of the analysis showed that most studies applied the existing basic psychological needs(autonomy, competence, and relatedness) without any change even in outdoor recreation. Accordingly, it was necessary to supplement the basic psychological needs of SDT when the model applying to outdoor recreation context, and to further specify the relationship between basic needs and motivation. Finally, the modified motivational model with nature-relatedness needs in outdoor recreation area was suggested.
