슬로시티의 철학을 적용한 감천마을 관광지 개발모형 구축을 위한 탐색적 연구

Abstract

The study is to develop a urban regeneration model of Gamcheon Village in Busan using Cittaslow philosophy. The study examined problems of the village, and conducted in-depth interview of residents in the village and academics and professionals on urban regeneration and of the National Cittaslow Corea Network. The problems are categorized into vulnerability of ecological, economic, and social capital, and solutions for each vulnerability are suggested. Ecological regeneration needs to preserve local infrastructures and blend new wit existing facilities, economic regeneration needs to create employment for sustainable community development, and social regeneration needs to create a more effective communication structure. Local governments, businesses, and communities should establish their own strategies for environmental and economic sustainability and social equality based on Cittaslow Philosophy. Especially, their interaction is needed to attract more visitors that helps to increase values of ecological capital of the village for urban regeneration. Finally it is important to enhance Gamcheon’s attractiveness as a tourism community, to ensure a urban regeneration model adopting the Cittaslow Philosophy.
